Frankie and Patty were using their living room as a daycare, but it wasn’t working for children or for everyday family life. The garage existed as unused space, leaving them without a dedicated, safe environment designed for learning, play, and daily routines.

Inside, the ADU functions as a complete apartment with a full kitchen and living area. The layout supports everyday routines and independent living, giving Patty’s aunt a comfortable space of her own.
The bathroom was designed to be fully functional and comfortable for daily use. Along with the kitchen and living space, it reinforces the ADU as a complete, self-sufficient home.
